Modern family Gould Nolan recently shared their funny run-in with the 49-year-old actor at last year's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

He has always been interested in foreign policy, and earlier today 17 November GeorgeClooney was spotted arriving at a meeting of the UN building in New York City.

In career news, Clooney has already shown interest in director Steven Soderbergh's 1960 film adaptation of TV show "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."

Soderbergh said he was in negotiations to "not modernize the film and holding it down in the director's beloved 1960 UNCLE to take back to the roots" earlier this week.

George Clooney addresses reporters in the White House Tuesday, October 12 in Washington, filled DCThe 49-year-old actor and human rights activist John Prendergast Barack Obama in his recent trip to Sudan.

George asking for support in preventing violence in Sudan - a referendum election shall be held in January to split the largest nation in Africa in two and cause a civil war in the country.

The AP notes that the two were impressed with President Obama's knowledge of the Sudanese conflict and his intention to prevent violence.
