Crash star Michael Pena has joined Jake in the upcoming police pic End of Watch.

The David Ayer-directed drama, which centers around the friendship and partnership between two cops, began production in L.A. earlier this week.

Jake Gyllenhaal flashes a smile at the Elle 17 Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute held at The Four Seasons Hotel Monday, October 18 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 29 year old acted Burberry used to Soiree, where he chatted with Hilary Swank and was also seen to represent images with Gwyneth Paltrow.  Jake has recently talked about the age of 30 at the end of the year.

"I feel more like myself. I feel now, it's just the beginning," he said. "I think you get to a point at 30 or somewhere and you say," What I do know what I am and that's what I get to be, and that's all good.  I do not need to be anything else   "And that’s kind of how I feel.”
