Jodie Lee Ann Sweetin was born on 19 January 1982. She is an American actress best known for her role as Stephanie Tanner on long television sitcom Full House. Her debut role was in the sitcom Valerie in 1987 when she played Pamela, the niece of Mrs. Poole.

Sweetin met Cody Herpin, a film transportation coordinator, through friends, and they started dating in May 2007. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada, 14 July 2007. The couple have a daughter named Zoie Laurelmae who was born on May 12 April 2008. On 19 November 2008 Sweetin filed for separation from Cody Herpin. A representative for Sweetin told Life and Style that She felt it was the way she had to go. On April 20, 2010, the divorce is final.



Sweetin is a recovering drug addict who started using methamphetamines because she was "tired". In 2009, Sweetin wrote an autobiography called unSweetined which chronicles his downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse that began with the end of Full House. The book is currently under contract with Spotlight Entertainment.
